Dr. Shon was born and raised in Los Angeles, and loved surfing, mountain biking, and playing sports while he was growing up. He completed his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and his residency in orthopedic surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Shon augmented his surgical expertise as a fellow at the University of Washington, where he specialized in hand surgery. His prestigious medical education set the foundation for the excellent care that he provides today. He strives to serve every patient to the best of his abilities. Dr. Shon is still an avid surfer, hiker, and biker in his free time. His excitement to serve his patients comes in part from an understanding that pain-free mobility is essential in leading a high-quality life.
